The Della Kit + CreeAsian at 1909 Kitchen + Bar

With the intention to nourish, soothe and empower her listeners the della kit was born to Jazz musicians in Boston MA and raised in British Columbia, Canada. Her musical journey started at the age of 16 when she found her sense of belonging in music and nature. Inspired by the likes of Ella Fitzgerald & India.Arie, the della kit’s music is dynamic and playful while laced with evocative stories of healing and self-love.

CreeAsian is the founder of the Sampler Café and CypherwildYEG initiatives, as well a multi-disciplined practitioner of the arts. Matthew is an indigenous and urban arts practitioner who lives in Edmonton, Alberta. Matthew practices traditional grass dance and breaking, DJs and produces music and he shares his knowledge through educational arts programming, workshop delivery and live music performance. He is currently working on educational curriculum development, music production projects and touring as a dancer for Juno-award winning group The Halluci Nation (formerly known as A Tribe Called Red.)
