“Art is in the eye of the beholder” and for many of our artists, the beholder is the natural world that encompasses Tofino and Ucluelet and the unlimited pallet of images it offers. Inspiration  may range from the roaring of a wave to the beat of a humming bird’s wing, the majestic canvas from a mountain top, to the beauty hidden under the sea. Many local artists are in rhythm with and pursue their creativity through the wild and wonderful animals that swim, fly, and walk within their dreams. Other local artists are inspired by the people of the coast in their everyday pursuit of personal purpose. Art can be thought of as inspiration put on canvas.  We hope you enjoy the art presented and feel inspired to support our local artists by making a place in your life for a coastal image.
