Our first nation guides have an intimate knowledge of the local waters and history of the Clayoquot area. Booking a fishing trip with our experienced guides will open you to the fishing spots that have provided food fish for local first nations villages for generations and which are now shared with locals and visitors.
We also offer whale watching and wildlife tours tours that will be sure to thrill as you are brought up close and personal with giants of the sea while they spend their summer months in the waters of Clayoquot Sound; Orcas, Grey whales and Humpback whales are frequently encountered. Our tours provide the opportunity to see the abundant other wildlife that exists on land, sea and in the air. It is not unusual to spot sea lions, eagles, sea otters, bears, harbour porpoise, puffins, many other varieties of marine birds, and much more!
In addition, we offer tours to the natural hot springs in Hesquiat harbour. This 6 and a half hour day tour will take you to one of our most famous and sought after experiences. It also offers many opportunities for wildlife viewing, so please keep your cameras close by.
For those with an interest in history and first nations culture, we offer a Journey into History with local elder Moses Martin, a 7th generation descendant of War Chief Nookmiis. Moses will discuss the rapid changes that have taken place for local First Nations as well as the history of the interactions between the early European explorers and First Nations communities.
