Basement Sweet are back for their big Tofino summer rager at The MAQ Pub.

Basement Sweet is the solo project of 21-year-old Seth Petersen, an independent artist based out of Calgary, AB, Canada, currently residing in Tofino, BC, Canada. Seth started Basement Sweet in 2020, aiming to blend elements of Indie Rock and Surf Rock with distinctive jangly guitar sounds in his bedroom studio in the basement. Hence the name, Basement Sweet. Joined by a 4-piece band, Basement Sweet’s main aesthetic described in one word is fun, he enjoys colorful and playful styles, and simply being weird. When Seth isn’t making music, he is out skateboarding, skiing or surfing.
