John Lee Trio – West Coast Winter Music Society

The sound of the John Lee Trio bridges the gap between the past and the future of modern Jazz; a collective true to the “straight ahead” sound with a fresh improvisational approach on concise musical arrangements. The trio rarely features original compositions and the most prominent vessel for expression is the interpretation of a song from the Great American Songbook or a composition by a jazz giant born in the early 20th century.
