Tofino’s Tonquin Trail
Tonquin Trail is an easy ‘out and back’ gravel trail which includes beautiful views of Clayoquot Sound. The trail begins at the Tofino Community Hall and meanders through old-growth forest to Tonquin Beach and Third Beach, respecting the local ecosystem and reflecting the spirit of the community. This trail makes a lovely family outing for visitors and residents. Presently the trail is 2.6 kilometres round-trip. Viewpoints are often best seen at the end of short spurs.
The starting point for the trail is the Tofino Community Hall. Parking for bikes and cars is available. Map, washrooms and bike park adjacent to trail head.

Keep dogs on leash.
No bikes.
No campfires or camping on the trail, beach or park.
Please do not remove any sea creatures.
Please remove all garbage and recyclables.

This is a foot path trail. Bicycles and powered vehicles are restricted to maintenance and enforcement personnel only.

Liquor, camping and fires are not permitted as per provincial and district by-laws.
