Tofino Nature Kids

Tofino Nature Kids is located in Tofino, British Columbia on the wild west coast of Vancouver Island. We offer programs for residents and visitors that celebrate the special elements of being a child in this incredible environment. Combining elements of Waldorf education and the Forest School philosophy, we offer nature immersion programs for children ages 3 – 12. Come join us for the experience!

Tofino Nature Kids is a nature immersion program. We spend most of our time together outside, even in the winter. Please consider if your child will be comfortable in an outdoor learning environment. Your family must be committed to ensuring your child is suitably dressed and fully prepared for the weather every day. We do have covered and indoor areas for especially soggy times or special projects and events!

Outside, our school has only invisible walls, therefore, our programs are not suitable for children who are prone to uninhibited “wandering”.
