Tacofino Cantina

Our philosophy is simple: create great food, in a great atmosphere, as we support local fishermen and farmers.

Our original Tacofino truck, that has now inspired a thriving chain of restaurants and mobile food trucks in Vancouver and Victoria, sits in the parking lot at the back of the Beaches/Live to Surf complex. Our orange coloured Mecca for taco lovers has become an iconic part of the Tofino experience. Incredibly busy at times in the summer, our feast on wheels has satisfied the appetite of hundreds of thousands of individuals and families, hungry after a day at the beach or walking in the pristine forests.

Inspired by the bold flavours and back alley BBQs encountered while we hit up surf destinations all over the world, we felt the tortilla was the beautiful vessel to use to bring it all together. We decided to create affordable tacos, burritos, and gringas, stuffed full with your choice of local fish, farm raised chicken, beef, pork, or vegetarian options.  Years later, we continue to strive to make you feel like you are recharging on a beach every time you enjoy our food.
