Remote Passages Marine Excursions

Hello and welcome to Remote Passages Marine Excursions.  We first launched in 1986 out of Tofino on the west coast of Vancouver Island, just minutes from Long Beach and Pacific Rim National Park. We continue to offer exciting and informative trips for whale watching, bear watching, hot spring cove tours, and, for those ages 12 and above, we have guided sea kayaking trips from April through to October.

Tofino is part of Clayoquot Sound, a vast temperate rainforest area of extensive beaches and deep fjord inlets and, at Remote Passages, we are committed to preserving the ecological value and timeless wonder of the Sound. We strive to help visitors appreciate the coastal environment through fun, educational outings.
