Tofino Community Children’s Centre

The Community Children’s Centre is a licensed group daycare centre offering enriched, quality programming both inside and outside. In addition to our learning environment, children regularly explore our community through story time at the Tofino library, elementary school programs, and neighborhood exploration. We are licensed to provide care for children aged 30 months through to school aged.

Our goal is to provide quality, consistent programs that will enable each child to learn and grow. Our mission is to offer the best early learning environment we are capable of providing by focusing on the four areas of early learning that are based on the vision and principles of the Early Learning Frameworks: Well-being and Belonging ~Exploration and Creativity~ Languages and Literacy~ Social Responsibility and Diversity. Early learning refers to the emerging and expanding of young children’s physical, intellectual, emotional, social and creative capacities.

The Centre operates 8:30am-5:00pm Monday to Friday and is closed on all statutory holidays and for one week at the end of the year.
