Cedar House Gallery
As a native art gallery, we represent a selection of local and regional First Nations artists who work in a variety of traditional and contemporary native styles. Huu-Mees Ma-as Cedar House Gallery opened in 2008 and was welcomed into the community in traditional style with a ribbon cutting ceremony and the blessing of the local chiefs.
We specialize in cedar works, primarily masks, bentwood boxes, paddles and bowls. The gallery also has cedar bark hats, basketry and jewellery. We carry a selection of original paintings and fine art prints, as well as native silver, clothing, leather and knitted goods, and many more gift items to choose from.
Cedar House Gallery is open daily from 10:00 am. Our personable and professional staff are ready to assist you to pick that special gift item, souvenir, or find that perfect piece for your collection. We welcome you to check out our inventory, which for your convenience is searchable online. We currently don’t charge for packaging, and international shipping is part of our business, so feel free to inquire to find out more!
