Big Daddy’s Fish Fry

Located close to the park and across from Rhino Coffee House, in the centre of downtown Tofino, Big Daddy’s is the place to go for comfort food in Tofino. This Tofino institution serves a huge variety, including fresh cut fries, halibut, cod, salmon, prawns, popcorn shrimp, scallops, fish & beef burgers, chicken, chowders, appetizers, caesar salad, smoked oysters, footlong beef hot dogs, deep fried pickles, crab, and tacos.  The batter is an in-house made tempura batter, and condiments include home-made tartar sauce, salsa, avocado sauce, and even grilled pineapple.
